  It is currently one of the best out of the worst. All Iraqi banks are backwards and dysfunctional institutions. But the TBI is among the better ones out there. It can provide you with bank statements and other services that are internationally-standardized, they answer emails (which is something extraordinary for a bank in Iraq). They have an app (albeit bad) and their credit cards don't work online on 75% of websites. They can take months for them to issue a credit card for you and the place can be unbearably crowded at times (expect wasting an entire day just to make deposits/withdrawals), the building and office spaces are small. ATMs: Available but often empty on cash. The upsides to it is that it is a very trustworthy bank that is trusted by institutions like embassies or global organizations/companies, you can actually get money wired into your account through New York into your TBI account (although it is very complicated and is a hit or miss). Services are often very simple and banking processes can be done within minutes. All documents can be issued and notarized in the same branch. All deposits are insured and the interest they pay on deposits is relatively good at 7%. Overall, 3/5.

  I definitely don't recommend this branch. They have unreal way of thinking far away from logic. They really should reconsider their management team and their impulsive instant ideas and policies.

  The transactions are good. I made a MasterCard in the Iraqi currency, as their procedures were good and it is accepted in many places, even in the United States, but the currency exchange difference was large, as the lump sum in dollars was calculated more than the exchange rate on the black market. Employees wear beautiful neckties containing the bank's logo.
