::Al-Thaqalayn Hospital for Oncology Treatment in Basra is part of the Warith International Foundation for Cancer Treatment, which in turn is part of the Education and Health Authority of the Holy Shrine of Hussein. This hospital provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to cancer patients in Basra and southern Iraq. It was built with funding from the general budget of the Iraqi state within the investment projects item for the Shiite Endowment.
