  Worse university ever. They are still using the white boards and markers, and digital boards are not available. Professors are very arrogant does not teach expect freshman students to know English and just throw bunch of excessive sources with no guidance, instruction or teaching. Baghdad university labs are very poor in terms of equipments provides , technological methods applied , low quantity assistance. Materials and curriculums are outdated, the technology world is no longer led by outdated books but with new reliable searches conducted by global credential universities. I recommend every parents not to let their kids be enrolled in this university. Instead, you should’ve pay attention to American university that been established for a while.

  It was great feeling to see The University of Baghdad (UOB) (Arabic: جامعة بغداد, also known as Baghdad University) is a public research university in Baghdad, Iraq. It is the largest university in Iraq and the tenth largest university in the Arab world. I hope to see it again because College of Islamic Sciences claims that it originated in 1067 A.D. as Abu-Haneefa. However, the College of Law, the earliest of the modern institutions that were to become the first constituent Colleges (i.e. Faculties) of the University of Baghdad, was founded in 1908. The College of Engineering was established in 1921; the Higher Teachers Training College and the Lower College of Education in 1923, the College of Medicine in 1927, and the College of Pharmacy in 1936. In 1942, the first higher institution for girls, Queen Alia College, was established. In 1943, proposals for further new Colleges appeared, leading to the foundation of the College of Arts and the College of Science in 1949, and Abu Ghraib College of Agriculture in 1950.

  One of best iraqi universities but in global level of course it doesn't compare but good overall

  I went here, on a national scale it's one of the best universities in iraq but internationally there is alot of room for improvement. It's really big and very easy to get lost in side. It's not easy to get accepted as a student here there so many levels of beurocratic paper work it gets really frustrating at many points.

  My lovely university I really missed it 💔💔 The biggest university in Iraq 🇮🇶, there are so much departments that belong to university of Baghdad, although it still needs so much of work to reach an acceptable rating that makes us proud to say we studied here. Hopefully one day this dream comes true ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
