  An excellent university founded in 1987 in Baghdad. It has nine colleges, including the College of Medicine, Dentistry, Law, and others. It is located on Street 60, Al-Kadhimiya area, while the university presidency is located in Al-Jadriyah, Baghdad.

  Al-Nahrain University It is one of the Iraqi universities. It was founded in Baghdad in 1987. Its name was Saddam University, and it was changed to Al-Nahrain University after the fall of the ruling regime in 2003. It is considered one of the best Iraqi universities in many respects, in its scientific, methodological, and... The university has two academic complexes, the first of which is the largest, located in Al-Jadriyah in Baghdad, next to the University of Baghdad, while the second is located in Al-Kadhimiya. The university is publicly funded. University graduates were given the right to study for a master’s degree if the final average exceeded 65% until 2006. After that, it was included in the central admission system, similar to the systems of other universities, with postgraduate “master’s” seats determined.
