::Rehabilitation of Faiq Hassan Hall With the exceptional efforts of the Engineering Department and the follow-up of the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Hassan Nazem, to the implementing committee, which was under the direct supervision of Dr. Montaser Sabah Al-Hasnawi, Faiq Hassan Hall was reopened in a record period not exceeding thirty days, according to the designs prepared for it in a scientific and artistic manner that conforms to the controls of the plastic display that befits the hall’s great name in the world of Iraqi plastic arts and the pioneering artistic legacy that the Department of Public Arts carries to invest again in its artistic activities. After years of neglect, after the hall was transformed into an abandoned restaurant with burnt walls, it was rehabilitated so that the hall was opened in conjunction with the Al-Wasiti Fine Arts Festival, which was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and with the qualitative participation of the works of major Iraqi plastic artists, under the management of Dr. Fakher Muhammad, Director General of the Department of Public Arts.
