  Dhi Qar Governorate Health Department is the General Directorate of health institutions throughout the governorate. It supervises the provision of curative and preventive health services to the people of the governorate. It also provides logistical support to health institutions and equips them with medicines and medical devices, while providing immediate ambulance services, in addition to specialized centers such as the diabetes center, the heart center, the endocrine center, and the specialized dental center.
