  A section of the engineering departments at the University of Technology. It is one of the departments that was established a long time ago and one of the first departments established at the university. The department contains a group of engineering branches that are derived from the specialty of production and metallurgy engineering, such as the production engineering branch, the metallurgical engineering branch, and other branches. The student graduates as an assistant engineer in the specialty he is studying according to the branch from which he graduates. There is morning study through central admission and evening study that takes place through direct application to the department and payment of tuition fees. Evening school fees are two and a half colours. Evening tuition fees can be paid in installments.
