And the Ministry of Interior, which is the building standing before us by Sarai Street. Saray Palace 1921-1958 AD The Ministry of the Interior in the Royal Era With the beginnings of the Royal Era, some buildings that were part of the Grand Serail (the government complex) were demolished and were replaced by a complex of the two current buildings adjacent to the Qishla, which are administratively divided into two parts: the Council of Ministers building in the Royal Era, which is the part overlooking the Tigris River. In an inner courtyard, and the building of the Ministry of the Interior during the royal era, which stands in front of us and overlooks Al-Saray Street.
