  The hospital was very clean and the staff was friendly but there was way too many people there, all the staff was stressed and it was because of I went there after Eid it was first day that the doctors was back. But the cost is a little too highly

  Very good compared with basra hospitals , not expensive and good organized, the only thing need to improve is the documents controller during the booking process and the doctor need to have more time with patient to understand the cases that he has .

  They killed my sister in this hospital and kept her in the hospital for 29 days just to pay $400 per night . They lost everything they gave my sister which caused her death. I found that they had given him many injections that should not have been given at this level because a healthy person would not revive from a common injection. Not a patient who has been in the hospital for 29 days with expired needles and medicines. I recommend no one visit them. Most of their medicines are expired and the prices are five times higher..

  My husband was in severe pain early in the morning and I took him in to the Par Emergency room -before 9 am. We were one of only a few people there and were seen immediately. The staff was professional and helpful. I believe they had all labs finished, ultrasound completed, and a diagnosis within the first 45 minutes. Emergency surgery was scheduled a little later that day (2:30 pm). All went well. Doctors and nurses checked in several times. We were given the choice to stay overnight in a private room or go home, to which my husband chose home. We left around midnight. For those who are foreign, the system may be a little different. Each step at the hospital you must pay for and if any medication is needed you must go outside to the Pharmacy -I made 7 trips to the accountant and 7 trips to the pharmacy. For example, as my husband was being wheeled back to surgery, I was asked to run to the pharmacy to get medication / IVs -I'm assuming which was used during surgery. This is important to note, as you may want to bring a friend or family member to assist you in the running -especially if you are in pain. I only mention this in case there are any single people who may read this, as I once lived as a single in this country. :) My only complaint is I wish there had been some better pain killers for my husband afterward, but I think we figured it all out and he's all good now... Oh and the parking is really difficult too once it gets busy midday! Thanks, Par Hospital!
