The tomb of Imamzadeh Tahir bin Muhammad Baqir (AS) is located in the shrine of Hazrat Salman Farsi in Mada'in, Iraq. The person buried in this place has been identified as one of the children of Imam Zain al-Abdin (a.s.) or Tahir bin Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.). Brief introduction of the editor This shrine is located between the shrines of Hazrat Salman Farsi and Huzaifa bin Yaman and is attributed to one of the sons of Imam Zain al-Abdin (a.s.), named Tahir; However, this name has not been registered among the children of Imam Sajjad (a.s.). Some others have identified the person buried in this place as Tahir bin Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.). This is despite the fact that Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) did not have a son named Tahir. Of course, some have identified Ali bin Imam Baqir (a.s.) as Tahir, whose grave was discovered in Jafariyah, a suburb of Baghdad. Moving the grave It should be noted that this grave was originally located in a shrine called "Imam Taha" in a neighborhood of the same name and in Amin Square in Baghdad, which was destroyed during the development of Al-Rashid Street in 1940 AD, and the bones of the person buried there were moved to the threshold of Salman Farsi and buried in the eastern room of his tomb.
