::I have very beautiful memories of the founding of this monastery. My friends and I participated in cleaning the place while the workers were working on it. I remember that there were two blind women and orphan girls among the most wonderful and beautiful days I lived. Thank you for the nuns of Immaculate Conception. I always remind them of my prayers, Amen.

::My neighbors opposite my house are respectable and educated people, and I love and cherish them all. Thank God, where do they live if I am in a church or meeting room?

::The nunnery in the center of Karrada, especially for Christians, is a place of worship and meditation with beautiful gardens General information about the site: - In 1921 AD, Pastor David Qinaya built a prayer hall there for the believers living in the area after their exodus from the Christians’ contract area. The building was expanded in 1925 AD. In 1927, the nuns lived in it. It was a simple building, and the pillar of the chapel of Saint Anne, the mother of the Virgin Mary, was made of wood, mats, and clay. - 1985 AD The nuns added three neighboring houses to the site and rebuilt the monastery and the church. The building was designed by engineer Bashir Kajaji.
