::Biggest hospital in Basra, has lots of branches in different specialties I’ll have an example about the Maxillofacial department: the service there is very nice, the doctors and residents and nurses are very helpful and comely, they do lots of operations starting from minor repairs to emergency situations to major oral surgeries The hospital is very big, thus the transportation in it takes lots of time for the patients and staff alike, it becomes really bad during the hot days of summer when the sun strikes hard on you without a ceiling to cover your head

::Basrah general teaching hospital is the largest hospital in Basrah regarding it's capacity. It contains over five hundred beds in different medical specialities. It has the largest orthopaedic surgery centre in southern region of Iraq , the largest dialysis centre , the largest urology department , and in near future there will be a celebration of opening a building for surgical departments .
