::Al-Hakim Teaching Hospital The Director General of Maysan Health, Ali Al-Alaq, told the official news agency, as reported by Al-Naeem News, that "the department has completed all preparations for the transition from Al-Shaheed Al-Sadr Teaching Hospital to Al-Hakim Teaching Hospital," confirming that "the opening date will be January 4, 2023." He added that "Al-Hakim Teaching Hospital has a capacity of 490 beds and will provide comprehensive, quality medical services to the people of Maysan, thanks to its state-of-the-art equipment and specialized medical clinics." He pointed out that "the Turkish company Universal, in partnership with Iraqi engineering personnel, is continuing to work to complete Al-Hakim Teaching Hospital in the governorate as quickly as possible."
