  Al Ghazil Market was a disappointing and upsetting experience. The lack of cleanliness is immediately noticeable, with dirty surroundings and an unpleasant smell throughout. The animals are kept in poor conditions, overcrowded in small cages with little care for their well-being. It’s heartbreaking to see them in such distress. What’s even worse is the complete lack of control or regulation by any authority. There seems to be no oversight to ensure proper treatment of the animals or maintain basic hygiene standards. The market is chaotic, and it’s clear that animal welfare is not a priority here. Definitely not a place I would ever visit again or recommend.

  Best place to get pet accessories, but buying animal pets is still risky there because there is no guarantee that the sold animal was healthy.

  The most famous old popular market in Baghdad specializes in buying and selling all kinds of animals, even exotic ones. It is most crowded and active on Fridays, so that any citizen comes to buy or sell what he wants.

  This pet's market in central Baghdad is only open on Fridays. Worth visiting if you're in Baghdad 👌💙✔️

  It's where you can buy pets and wild animals too ...so crowded on Friday
