  The atmosphere is very nice, and the seating area is spacious. The quantity of food is good, but it lacks flavor. The prices are reasonable, but I don't think I will visit this restaurant again.

  We were in a group for a medical meeting , we waited more than an hour to bring our simple drink and at last they brought it for some of the group and we have to wait further I got out and left the restaurant even without taking my lunch

  Awesome place well done up, food amazing very warm staff ... luxury at a very affordable price ... one of the most happening joints in Najaf

  5point Review Cuisine : What most other Restaurant serve in Najaf (This is not an African cuisine restaurant. Dont go here looking for mishkaki or nundu😊) Africano suffers from what all Iraqi Reastaurants suffer, Iraqi food Syndrome. The same dishes are served in most restaufants and Africano is no different. 1.👍: Good Ambience. They have tried to create some African wibes with their decor which is commendable. (Although it falls well short of what you see in other countries) Food was decent. We asked our Captain to order for us. Some of their special kebabs, Lahm madfoon. Their plating is good and they are catching up with other places in the world as far as dish presentation and serving is concerned. 2. Thumbs down : Food taste. Just like any Iraqi restaurant, their food tastes the same. They just dont want to risk opening up to new cuisine. They just change the decor, presentation, but on plate you get the same things served with differnt names. Serving was slow. Many dishes on the menu card werent available (like Lamb chops) 3. Wow factor : Maybe Decor and food presentation. 4. Money Matters : Approx 20000 IQD per pax. High end dining but not that satisfying. 5. 5point Experience : Its good comparatively but nothing out of this world. Iraqi restaurants need to open up to the world. A hundred different restaurants with same menu wont work for long. My ratings : A one time go. Nothing more
