Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital: The six-story Nasiriyah General Hospital is considered the governorate's premier healthcare facility. It was founded in 1980 and opened in 1983. The work was carried out by the Japanese companies Marubeni and Taisite, covering an area of ​​(65,000) square meters and with a capacity of (400) beds.
